A full 30-week program for the OCIA candidate, the convert, or any Catholic wanting a firm foundation. Four foundational courses on what Catholics believe, how they worship, how they live, and how they pray — alongside the prayers every Catholic should know by heart and weekly habits of devotion. Built on the four pillars of the Catechism.
Week 1-2: Foundational prayers
Sign of the Cross

OCIA: What Catholics Believe (The Creed)
Course
Three modules covering the Apostles' Creed, the Trinity, and Jesus Christ. Use the daily session to drill the doctrines.
Apostles' Creed
Prayer
Memorize the Apostles' Creed phrase-by-phrase as you study what each line means.
Week 10-16: How Catholics worship
OCIA: How Catholics Worship (Sacraments + Mass)
Course
The seven sacraments, the parts of the Mass, and the liturgical year.
Nicene Creed
Prayer
The Creed prayed at Sunday Mass. Memorize alongside the course on the Mass.
Week 17-23: How Catholics live
OCIA: How Catholics Live (Moral Life)
Course
Ten Commandments, Beatitudes, virtues, conscience, sin and confession.
Act of Contrition
Prayer
Memorize before your first reconciliation — usually scheduled later in the program.
Week 24-30: How Catholics pray
OCIA: How Catholics Pray
Course
The kinds of prayer, the Our Father in depth, Mary and the Rosary.
Morning Offering
Prayer
A simple daily habit to begin the program: offer the day to Christ each morning.
Weekly habits
Attend Sunday Mass. The week pivots around the Eucharist.
